Two Big Skin Saves

Thank God this is the last day of January. January and my skin seemed to be in a constant battle. Skin was on quite a losing streak… But these two things were MIRACULOUS in making some big saves.

1.) Mustela Stelatopia Moisturizing Cream: I have a patch of eczema on my lower back. It is unsightly and nothing seemed to be working on it whatsoever. I was using these thick, butter-like creams which admittedly temporarily made my skin feel better but long term, they did nothing. When I felt this Mustela cream (which I should add is hawked for babies), I was like, “There is no way this cream is going to do anything. It’s too thin!” It was more lotion-y, not so creamy and I just couldn’t see how this was going to heal squat. But once again, I must swallow my pride and admit I was wrong. This cream has me on the definite mend. The discoloration is quickly fading, the itchiness has subsided and the scaliness is now next to nothing. And for under $20? A steal and a half if you ask me…

2.) Bliss Triple Oxygen Energizing Mask: An old favorite of mine. When my face needs a little extra TLC, this is my “big gun.” This citrus smelling, gel mask foams up on the face as you rub it in. I leave it on for a few minutes while I shave my legs. When I’m done, I wash it off and viola! The easiest five minute facial around, leaves me extra glowy and ready to face the arctic temperatures awaiting me just beyond the front door. Dull skin begone!
